When staying in Amsterdam avoid staying at the Hotel Agora.It is not safe We were robbed, the hotel knew they had a theft problem and they did nothing to stop it Doors on the rooms are made of particle board, locks are flimsy and front desk security is nonexistant.NOT RECOMMENDED

Would you mind to clarify was your room looted while you were out Or were you assaulted in the hotel I'm assuming from your post that the hotel did nothing to help you out
We have stayed at the Agora 7 times in the past 10 years and have had no security problems at all.ound the staff to be very nice and concerned about the wellbeing of their guests.id you set the code properly in the inroom safe I found the key coded locks very secure.orry about your loss and hope it was just an isolated incident.ne must be very careful in a big city.
