Hello, I have been to Amsterdam three times.With that amount of time you can easily take a train to Centraal Station (maybe a 15 to 20 minute rideand from there, you are a two minute walk from many companies which offer canal tours.The tours are about and hour and run about 10 Euros.This is a great way to see the city, being that the canals make Amsterdam what it is.I know a canal tour is a bit of a "tourist thing" but hey, go for it anyway, I did two out of the three times I visisted the city.Oh yeah, make sure you walk down to Dam Square, it is very nice and if you want some good laughs go to the Sex Museum on Damrak Straat, it is worth an hour of your time if you have it.Best wishes for a great holiday, I love the Netherlands.

My wife, 7yearold daughter, and I will be arriving at Schiphol Airport, but want to immediately take the train to Brussels (we'll be in Amsterdam at the end of our trip.'ve contacted Rail Europe, but they only sell tickets for the Thalysand there's a 7 reservation fee plus a 15 mailing fee for these.
I have two questions: would there be any problem getting a train ticket at Schiphol to Brussels when we arrive (8:00 AM is the scheduled arrival, so I assume we should have our bags and be ready to roll about 9:00 or 9:30
Second, does anyone know the approximate cost (in dollars or euros for this trip, 2nd class Are any discounted fares available
